TILT Summer Film Camp

 

Attention Bay Area Teens: Wanna Learn How To Make a Movie?

Spend the summer learning how to shoot and edit your own film or video.

 

Overview

Film Camp puts you in collaboration with a small group of other aspiring filmmakers to take on the roles of a real film production crew. You will learn the all basics of video production from Pre-production, to Scriptwriting to Shooting, to Editing. Finally, you will put your newfound skills to the test and work together to create a short film. This all happens in three intense weeks of Film Boot Camp, with 4-hour workshops, 4 days a week.

 

Camp Dates: Summer 2008

Begins August 4 and Ends August 21
Monday-Thursday, 1 PM-5 PM




Who can come?
Anyone aged 14-19 is welcome at Film Camp. No prior filmmaking experience is necessary.

 

What is the Cost?
$500.00/student includes hands-on training with professional instructors, use of video and editing equipment, and a final video. (Limited scholarships for low-income households).

 

Who are the instructors?
Film Camp instructors know their stuff. They are all TILT-trained, media and filmmaking industry professionals with experience working with young people.
